Gobi Masala (Cauliflower Curry)

It has a good taste to it, but wasn't terribly impressed considering the variety of spices you use. For spices, it includes asafoetida, garam marsala, cayenne pepper and a few other things. The recipe also calls for turmeric but I keep forgetting to buy it. I felt this would be good as a side. It seems to be lacking something and wasn't terrible filling. To be fair, the recipe suggests serving it with rice, dal, raita and/or Indian pickles, whatever Indian pickles are, but I just made this as is. I also chopped the hell out of the vegetables with the Vidalia Chop Wizard I got.
